Reviews and Ratings
After a 3-4 hour journey, we were quite grateful for the amazing rooms at the hotel. They were bright, with a lovely touch of shortbreads on arrival, no squeaky floorboards, an 'open' shower, a separate large bath, and a decent hairdryer. However, there were a few missing items listed on the website.
The hotel has recently been redecorated to a high standard, offering spotlessly clean rooms with a huge, comfortable bed and a great shower. The back location of the property provides a peaceful stay, although more seating in the rooms would be beneficial.
The hotel surprised us with a hidden building for rooms, leading to a wet journey to breakfast but provided a cosy and quiet retreat with a modern, luxurious bathroom and a comfortable bed. Service was friendly and helpful, despite the awkward reception setup. The central location offered access to key attractions in Lancaster, making it ideal for exploring. Dining was satisfactory with freshly cooked meals, setting us up for our journey home. The hotel boasted good facilities and was well-priced for the value received.
The hotel offers a lovely and spacious room with excellent shower area and cleanliness, although lacking air conditioning. The service is faultless with friendly and accommodating staff, but could benefit from better training. The location is excellent for exploring Lancaster, with plenty to do and see nearby. The dining experience, while great value for money, could have been warmer. Overall, a convenient and welcoming option.
